My father Shyam Bansraj passed away on 11th December 2021 at Frimley Park Hospital, after a long battle with Parkinson‘s Disease.

He was one of many Fijian‘s to join the British Army in the early 1960‘s and was incredibly proud to have had a long and exemplary military career. Upon leaving he worked for the MOD until the Parkinson’s forced early retirement.


He continued to be a supporter and advocate for the armed forces, therefore my mother, sister and I agree donations to the ABF Soliders Charity are a fitting tribute to his memory.
